Drones Club have not only returned with a brand new single but also a debut album announcement to boot.

Our favourite space-age collective return with ‘Barcelona‘, the first release from their upcoming full-length, Big World, set for release on 8 November.

The track builds like an art house space movie with haunting organs which oscillate before the track cascades into its transcendent climax.

The track hints towards a slightly softer and more nuanced approach for their debut. While we couldn’t get enough of their synth-soaked previous singles, ‘Barcelona’ sounds like a group honing their skills, beginning to welcome us into their mysterious world of the near-future.

The accompanying thermal imagery music video directed by the nominal trio, reflects this new honesty as the subtitles discuss the creative process of making the track and video.

Big World , sounds like a fitting title then, for a group who now sound ready to present this planet with an album full of their otherworldly talents.
