“A little peace, a little love, ‘Can’t Fight’ is that feeling of you know it’s not good, but you can’t not do it,” Lianne La Havas has said about her latest single.

Can’t Fight‘, produced by Beni Giles, (Oscar Jerome, Marcus Foster and Otzeki), is a wonderfully intricate composition. The track features a reggae bass line interspersed with acoustic guitars, strings and brass, combined with her distinctive voice.

“People say if you’re having a hard time in a relationship, just leave. It’s so easy to say, but it’s so much more complicated than that. Because there’s two of you, and neither of you are perfect,” the singer added about the track.

The track is the third single to be released from La Havas’ upcoming self titled album due out 17 July. The album follows from 2012’s Is Your Love Big Enough? and 2015’s Blood. The album is also set to feature a cover of Radiohead’s, ‘Weird Fishes’.
