We’ve started a brand-spanking new podcast series which features some of the most exciting new bands around! In each episode Josh Shreeve visits the artists in a different place to chat music and have a laugh. First stop: Oxford.

Oxford is the hometown of Low Island, a four-piece whose roots are as firmly in spindly indie guitar music as they are in deep house. They’re one of The VLM’s Eyes on 2018 artists and have been bigged up by a number of other tastemakers this year including Radio 1’s Huw Stephens. Now they’re about to play their biggest London headline show at Scala and support fellow guitar band Gengahr on the road.

Join me as I play around with all sorts in their bedroom-come-studio somewhere in a field in Oxford, before we delve into the Truck Record Store and play the first ever Beneath The Tracks, accompanied by Low Island’s tunes along the way.
