If you’re a fan of IDLES then you will love Joe Talbot’s new series BALLEY TV – a virtual talk show hosted the frontman.

Filmed in isolation and with conversations ranging from current events to creating music during quarantine (with the occasional quiz segment/marshmallow eating contest), BALLEY TV launched its pilot episode last month with featured guests Mike Skinner (The Streets) and Nadya Tolokonnikova (Pussy Riot).

Last Friday, BALLEY TV dropped episode two, featuring Lauren Mayberry (CHVRCHES) and Hak Baker .

Whilst the show does cover some serious subject matters; each episode is done with a humility and sense of compassion that are synonymous with IDLES.

The subjects discussed so far have included the Black Lives Matter movement and Talbot’s explanation of his understanding of his own white privilege;  his past issues in dealing with jealousy and in Episode two the  guests share the first album they ever bought for themselves.

A slate of future episodes will be rolled out throughout the summer. Guests will include Jehnny Beth (Savages), Sharon Van Etten, Kenny Beats, as well as other bandmembers and additional friends.
