Live at Leeds has announced its first-wave line up for 2021, featuring headliners Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes along with the likes of Sports Team, The Big Moon and The Night Cafe.

The festival will return for its fifteenth year on Saturday, 16 October 2021, at venues across the city.

The festival had to be cancelled last year after the coronavirus pandemic hit, making both the original date of 2 May and its rescheduled date in November not possible.

Manchester’s Pale Waves were due to headline the 2020 event with Shame, Easy Life, and The Coral also planned for the line up.

Along with the big names on the newly organised line up are some of the hottest upcoming northern artists including Frankie Beetlestone, Blondes, and Fizzy Blood. Also on the line up are Dream Wife, Courting, JAWS, and many more. See below for the full line up.

Headliners Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, recently returned with their new single ‘My Town’ featuring IDLES frontman Joe Talbot, while Mercury Prize nominees Sports Team also recently returned with their latest single ‘Happy (God’s Own Country) last month.

Live at Leeds also promises a bill featuring the best of emerging talent from Leeds itself, including the hotly-tipped newcomers L’objectif, who will be following on from their recent sold out show at The Wardrobe.

Independent Leeds based record label Dance to the Radio will also be showcasing their talent with label act Low Hummer, who have recently announced the release of their debut album Modern Tricks for Living.

The announcement follows a celebration of its fifteen years in the game boasting previous performers likes Ed Sheeran, AJ Tracey, and The 1975.
