Swedish pop star Zara Larsson will headline Manchester Pride this August, along with another artist to be confirmed on the 27 August.

The LGBTQ+ event, one of the world’s leading celebrations of LGBTQ+ life, will take place between August 27-30 2021 after the event was forced to be held online last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Other artists appearing alongside Larsson will include Example, Eve, Katy B, Gabrielle and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, with DJs Sigala and Annie Mac also set to be bringing the party to pride. The full line up can be viewed below.

Speaking about the event, Chief executive Mark Fletcher said the event “will be in a new home, with a reduced capacity, but the standard of talent on the stage remains exceptional”.

“With many artists having decided not to tour this year, my team has worked twice as hard to secure a first-class line-up of performers who are each excited to be able to celebrate LGBTQ+ life with us in person this year.”

Alongside the brilliant musical contributions, Manchester Pride festival will also host a series other activities, ceremonies, and family events to ensure Pride can be celebrated by all.
