The Sheffield group Polyhymns are a blissful, folk-pop and electronic hybrid formed in 2019 from the folktronica collective, Little Glitches, championed by Lauren Laverne, Shaun Keaveny and Steve Lamacq.

The group’s first official digital release, ‘Down With The Kids’ is a breezy ode to parenthood and isolation in the digital-age. The track has particularly pertinence with home-schooling during the lockdown and the controversial decision to re-open schools on 01 June, when the track will be officially released.

The track has gained global airplay and has made it onto Tim Robinson’s BBC Introducing Mixtape.

During 2020 Polyhymns are sharing a free download every month on their Bandcamp and Soundcloud accounts. The group are interested in online collaborations with artists and are particularly keen to work with video/film makers. Anyone interested can contact:
