The dreamy dancefloor duo have teased us with more new music today.

‘Shallow Water’ was announced through a 13 second snippet on AlunaGeorge’s twitter. The tweet reads: “I wrote this while soaking in the tub thinking about people who are just deep enough to entertain me on a Friday but won’t drown me past Sunday”.

As well as throwing shade from the bathtub, the synth-pop stars (consisting of singer-songwriter Aluna Francis and slick producer George Reid) have been busy with a number of releases and collaborations.

An EP titled ‘Champagne Eyes’ consisting of their most recent releases is set for release this Friday.

The EP-featuring track ‘Faulty’ was also teased by a snippet posted on Twitter yesterday.

Also set to feature on ‘Champagne Eyes’ will be the steaming single, ‘Superior Emotion’ featuring multi-instrumentalist Cautious Clay, the video for which was released last month.

AlunaGeorge have featured on tracks with SG Lewis, Shakka and Peking Duk since their second alum I Remember released in 2016.

The EP of new tracks will be the first solo material since last year’s ‘Turn Up the Love’ and ‘Last Kiss’.

Keep your eyes and ears open for ‘Champagne Eyes’ this Friday. For the time being however, you can check out Aluna’s awesome playlist featuring a female powerhouse of pop here.
