After supporting acts such as Bombay Bicycle Club and MS MR several years back, Flyte looked destined for success. Yet since catchy indie rock singles ‘Light Me Up’ and ‘Please Eloise’ received decent radio airplay, they appeared to have dropped off the map. Finally however, Flyte have returned with a new single and refreshed sound.

‘Echoes’ maintains the indie sensibilities of their earlier releases, yet the band sound more mournful and introspective than before. This is reflected in the the harmonised backing vocals and synth embellishments woven throughout the track. They’ve also announced their debut album to be released on Island Records at some point this year and have no tour dates currently scheduled, so keep your eyes peeled for further news from the band.
