To celebrate the one year anniversary of their debut album Ready Steady Bang, Bugeye are releasing a remix album with all profits donated to Newham charity – The Magpie Project.

The reimagined album to be titled Ready Steady Remix, is due for release on 9 July this year, and will feature the new Feral Five remix of their track ‘Don’t Stop’, which you can listen to here.

Bugeye are a four-piece disco punk band from Croydon who released their debut album on the 10 July last year to critical acclaim,

“The chance to get our hands on one of the tunes and Feralize the freak out of it was irresistible,” said the Feral Five duo.

The album is set to also feature remixes from the likes of Darryl Blood, Arthur Stanley, and The MAW Experiment. You can pre-order the album now on Bandcamp.

“Our debut album is very dear to our hearts so being able to explore new possibilities across a number of genres was dead exciting to us,” said Angela Martin of Bugeye.

The Magpie Project where the proceeds will be going from the album, is a community-based response to child homelessness in Newham. The charity provide the essentials – nappies, clothes, food, toiletries – to destitute families but add in advice, advocacy, connection, community and voice.
