L’objectif and Modern Woman are the latest bands to be added to Sheffield’s Get Together Festival taking place on 7 and 8 August this year.

L’objectif are a Leeds based four-pieced who produce genre-bending guitar music under Chess Club records known for rostering the likes of Alfie Templemann, BLOXX and Phoebe Green, (plus a huge alumni including Jungle, Easy Life, and Wolf Alice).

Modern Woman are an experimental London band which began life as the songwriting project of Sophie Harris, a literature graduate who started playing the songs solo at spoken word nights she ran. The band play elements of folk, post-punk and noise rock.

You can get a flavour for the two bands, and the other acts coming to Sheffield this August by listening to the Get Together playlist here.
