Sound City have announced they will be welcoming over 20 more artists to Liverpool next weekend, joining headliners Beabadoobee, Red Rum Club, and Rejjie Snow.

The festival taking place 1-3 October will be welcoming local bands SPINN and Courting who will bring their respective pop and punk energy to venues across the city. Big Heath, Pom Poko, L’Objectif, and more have also been added to the line up which you can view in full here.

The festival which was previously held in the Baltic Triangle district will now be held at various venues across the city centre. It returns for the first time since May 2019 due to restrictions from the pandemic.

The festival is renowned for its support of local talent with this year being no exception, featuring talent such as Lapsley, Jamie Webster, Pixey, The Mysterines, and many more. Sound city is also a part of the Keychange movement which takes action to empower talented underrepresented genders with training, mentoring, and network support plus conferences and showcasing opportunities at partner festivals. Sound City, continues to strive and succeed towards a 50:50 gender balance across its line up.
